April 2, 2021 – Associate Professor Dr. Nitida Sangsingkeo, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, represented the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, Thammasat University in the hybrid seminar for “International Fact-Checking Day 2021” at Sivatel Bangkok Hotel. The seminar was organized by the cooperation of 39 network partners across the country, including government affiliations, private organizations, and educational institutions. The event aimed to raise awareness about fake news and encourage the verification of different news categories from online media. It was also purposed to build a collaboration among people for the advantage of receiving accurate news and information.
